Business Unit - Diagnostic Laboratory Sales

Location – Hyderabad

Purpose of the main job

The job holder is responsible for driving sales growth, expanding market share, and meeting targets in an assigned area.

Main responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategies to increase sales volumes and achieve targets in the assigned territory.
  • Sell Revvity's products and services directly to end-users, identifying customer needs and trends.
  • Develop new accounts and expand existing ones within the established geographic territory, industry, or product segment.
  • Ensure the territory prospect pipeline is populated with a balance of short, mid, and long-term prospects.
  • Actively sell the increased value of Revvity's products and services, negotiating the best price and minimizing price erosion.
  • Facilitate problem-solving by assuring cross-functional coordination.
  • Provide and maintain accurate customer and prospect information.
  • Listen to customer requirements and present solutions to make a sale.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers through in-person and remote communication.
  • Represent the organization at trade exhibitions, events, and demonstrations.
  • Create detailed proposal documents as part of a formal bidding process.
  • Review sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets.
  • Gain a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements.
  • Attend team meetings and share best practices with colleagues.
  • Closely monitor sales opportunities and regularly update the immediate manager.

REQUIRED COMPETENCE

Education - Any graduate/postgraduate (preferably Science & Business Development)

Required work experience related to position - 4 to 8 years' experience

  • Three to five years in a sales representative role; within industry preferred.
  • One year of prior management experience or demonstrated willingness and ability to learn management basics.

  • Hardworking, persistent, and dependable.
  • Positive and enthusiastic.
