Job Title

A highly skilled and experienced fundraising professional is required to identify, cultivate, and steward relationships with high-value donors, alumni, and influential networks to mobilise substantial funding support.

This role involves developing and executing a robust fundraising plan to secure large-ticket donations from HNIs, alumni, and philanthropists. The ideal candidate should have experience in business development and fundraising, with a proven track record in developing and implementing CSR strategies, while being a strategic thinker with excellent relationship-building skills and a passion for making an impact.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Execute Fundraising Plan: Secure large-ticket donations (₹20 lakhs to ₹1 crore+) from HNIs, alumni, and philanthropists through strategic outreach and relationship-building.
  • Database Development: Create an extensive database of HNI / potential donors using wealth intelligence tools and personal network.
  • Target-Based Fundraising: Create and track a target-based fundraising goal, and report the same through donor tracking, engagement, and donation metrics to the management at regular intervals.
  • Pitch Creation and Closures: Develop and communicate powerful pitches, proposals to the management/ HNIs/ CSR Heads and drive closures successfully.
  • Collaboration and Event Management: Collaborate with the Communications team to create high-impact presentations, events, and experiences for prospects.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's/Master's degree in business, social sciences, or related fields.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5-7 years of experience working with HNIs/UHNI/CSR in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka.
  • Fundraising Experience: Proven track record of securing high-value donations from HNI/UHNI/Foundations/Grants.
  • Networking and Relationship-Building: Exceptional networking, relationship-building, and persuasion skills.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communicator (Bilingual - Tamil/English).
  • Leadership and Adaptability: Should be an individual contributor and should be comfortable leading pitches and closures to senior management. Should possess good knowledge of current trends in CSR, philanthropy, and HNI donor behaviours.
