Job Description - Presales Manager/ Senior Presales Manager
Key Responsibilities:
• Qualifying leads and collaborating with the client and sales team to assess customer requirements.
• Creating sales pitches, and providing product knowledge to the sales team and client
• Do requirement analysis and technical presentations
• Coordinate with design team to prepare solution designs, BOQs, system schematics, and technical documentation
• Assist in responding to RFPs, RFIs, and tenders with detailed solution inputs
• Present solutions to clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders with clarity and confidence
• Coordinate with OEMs and internal technical teams to validate solution architecture and product compatibility
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and best practices in AV, UC, IoT, and integration standards
• Provide technical support during demos, POCs, and early implementation phases
• Participate in client meetings, webinars, trade shows, and industry events as a solution expert
Key Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Telecommunication, or related field
• Proven experience in presales, solution engineering, or system design in the AV industry
• Strong knowledge of AV systems including:
o Video conferencing (Zoom, MS Teams, Webex, etc.)
o Display technologies (LED, projection, interactive displays)
o Audio systems (DSPs, microphones, speakers)
o Control systems (Crestron, Extron, Kramer, AMX)
o Networking concepts related to AV over IP
• Familiarity with AV standards such as HDBaseT, Dante, AES67, and PoE
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
• Strong documentation and proposal writing skills
• Certifications from AVIXA (CTS preferred), Crestron, Extron, or similar OEMs are an added advantage.
