Service Desk Manager PositionWe are seeking a proactive and organized Service Desk Manager to oversee and coordinate our overseas IT Service Desk operations.Key Responsibilities:Record and log incoming tickets in the IT service management system.Monitor and manage the service desk queue in real-time.Assign tickets to engineers based on their skills, workload, and availability.Apply smart routing logic for efficient issue resolution.Make transportation decisions for onsite support engineers when required.Ensure timely updates and closure comments on tickets.Team Leadership:Supervise a remote team of Service Desk Engineers.Balance workloads across the team and provide shift coverage planning.Mentor and conduct regular performance reviews.Act as the first point of escalation for complex issues.Operations & Reporting:Track performance metrics and ensure timely resolution.Produce daily/weekly reports on ticket activity and performance.Highlight recurring incidents for problem management.Suggest automation and workflow improvements.Customer Service:Maintain professional communication with customers.Handle escalated client concerns and complaints.Support the Service Desk Manager in client-facing reviews.The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
