Job OverviewThis role offers a unique opportunity to utilize your skills in procurement and strategic sourcing to drive business growth.The Senior Sourcing Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing sourcing strategies that align with our business objectives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of purchasing plans and processes.In this role, you will analyze market trends, evaluate supplier capabilities, and negotiate contracts to secure high-quality products at competitive prices.You will also be responsible for managing vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and identifying cost-saving opportunities through process improvements.A strong relationship builder with excellent communication skills is essential for success in this position. You must be able to build trust with internal stakeholders, including finance, quality, and operations teams, as well as external suppliers and customers.To succeed in this role, you should have a deep understanding of global markets, import processes, and logistics. Your ability to think strategically and provide creative solutions to complex problems will be highly valued.Key Accountabilities• Develop and implement sourcing strategies that meet business objectives.• Analyze market trends and evaluate supplier capabilities to inform purchasing decisions.• Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure high-quality products at competitive prices.• Manage vendor relationships and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.• Identify cost-saving opportunities through process improvements and implement changes as needed.Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.• At least 7-8 years of work experience in sourcing and procurement of raw materials.• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Outlook etc.• Strong negotiation skills.Preferred Qualifications• Full time Masters in Business Administration.• At least 10 years of experience in sourcing of micro ingredients for the Poultry & Dairy Nutrition /Feed category.• Excellent experience in developing, leading and executing purchasing strategies; tracking and reporting key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.• Strong relationship management skills with the capability to relate to people at any level of business and management.DisclaimerPlease note that we do not ask for money or processing fees as a condition of employment.
