Join us and be part of our inspiring journey.The Clinical Sales Specialist is responsible for looking after sales for the assigned territory of Maharashtra, based in Pune covering adjoining areas.  Meeting all interventional cardiologists and cardiac surgeons promoting the Transcatheter Heart Valve therapy products of Edwards. Conduct trainings, in-service sessions with heart teams of hospitals and create awareness on Transcatheter Heart Valve products of Edwards Lifesciences. Design the activities for market expansion and conduct CMEs, participate in cardiology congresses promoting THV products. Also get trained as the Clinical Specialist and support cases in the cath lab and assist in analysis of CT for TAVI procedures.How you will make an impact:• Serves as main point of contact within the Transcatheter Heart Valve (THV) business unit for assigned territory and/or customer base while acquiring understanding of cardiovascular anatomy, pathology and physiology relevant to EW medical products as it relates to the business• Develops and closes new business opportunities with existing customers and identifies areas of improvement to meet sales targets while contributing to development of short-term region plan• Builds and manages strong, long-lasting relationships with customers and other influencers in assigned region to push Edwards positioning in the market influencing less complex buying decisions using tact and diplomacy• Other incidental dutiesWhat you will need (Required):Bachelor's Degree in related field2+ years' experience of medical device sales experience requiredClinical support/in servicing experience preferredStructural heart knowledge preferredWhat else we look for (Preferred):• Good knowledge of the strengths and limitations of own products and competitor products• Understands BU strategy, selling model, medical devices industry and selling environment of own region• Develops understanding of assigned accounts and their challenges• Good understanding of hemodynamic monitoring and/or cardiovascular anatomy, pathology and physiology relevant to EW medical products as it relates to the business• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment• Strict attention to detail• Understands customer needs and explains EW product features compared to competitor offerings• Builds productive internal and external relationships and ongoing interactions with relevant customer contacts• Utilizes influencing skills on buying decisions using tact and diplomacy• Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
