Job Description: EHS and Sustainability Specialist
Job Location: Hosur (Tamil Nadu)
Position Details:
Function as a specialist and subject matter expert to drive key Environmental Health, Safety and Sustainability functionalities across the manufacturing and construction operations.
Role Responsibilities:
- Establish, implement and enforce safe work practices
- To follow the established procedures and policies of the company pertaining to EHS
- Provide subject matter expertise to business teams and suggest best available solutions.
- Engage in periodic reviews regarding the sector’s rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques and performance standards
- Knowledge and experience in global Sustainability Standards and frameworks
- Experience in designing & implementation of programs, KPIs, goals & targets on projects.
- Working closely with External consultants and Auditors on advisory and audit related processes.
- Knowledge & experience in GHG emission accounting for Scope 1, 2 & 3 as per GHG Protocol and other applicable standards
- Improving existing data collection & metrics reporting processes
- Contributing to the analysis of emerging ESG trends and regulations
- Identify and support implementation of GHG reduction projects in the areas of Energy, Waste, Water etc.
- Ad-hoc Data Analysis: Assist in performing statistical analysis and managing data inputs for business needs.
Critical Experience
- Proven experience in sustainability reporting, certifications, and compliance.
- Strong understanding of circular economy principles and sustainable practices
- Excellent communication, networking, and relationship-building skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to execute innovative sustainability initiatives.
- Proficiency in data analysis and impact assessment tools.
Educational Qualification
Graduate Engineer from a recognized University, (Sustainability or Environmental Engineering) M.Tech. Candidates are Preferred.
