Tata Electronics (a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Sons Pvt. Ltd.) is building India’s first AI-enabled state-of-the-art Semiconductor Foundry. This facility will produce chips for applications such as power management IC, display drivers, microcontrollers (MCU) and high-performance computing logic, addressing the growing demand in markets such as automotive, computing and data storage, wireless communications and artificial intelligence.

Job Description
We are looking for qualified EHS personnel to join our team to bring this ambitious project to reality in an ultra safe and zero incident Manner.
We are looking for EHS professionals that have a degree in EHS or related field and 21+ years of relevant EHS experience to build a culture of Safety First.
We are looking for people that are excited about working on leading edge factories and grow with the project. Currently we are in the construction phase and will transition to equipment installation and facilities commissioning to running a full semiconductor wafer fabrication plant. In the initial stages, we need a Fire and Industrial Safety graduates with relevant construction experience who will ensure industrial safety during project stage and monitoring of Life Management System (LMS) during O&M stage of the manufacturing plant (FAB ) at Jagiroad location . We are looking for professionals that have experience in dealing with chemical safety, gas safety protocols, Industrial Hygiene, mechanical and electrical safety systems to name a few.
Our goal is to have the Safest construction and operation in the world, and we want professionals who are experts and have a passion for Safety and Sustainability. The persons will ensure that we define safety protocols and work with our suppliers to ensure compliance with these standards and procedures to ensure zero accidents. They are expected to follow guidelines of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001and ensure proper coordination between all Agencies at site, Induction of all new employees and Visitors , TBT and Trainings as per project requirement and plan. Lead Mock Drills as per plan, Prepare HIRA, JSA, SOP etc., review and approve work permits to ensure safe work at site. Part of the job will be to monitor, reporting and taking corrective actions for any unsafe action, unsafe condition or near misses, accident/Incident reporting and Root cause analysis of problems. Conduct Safety Audits ensure corrective actions on observations and non-compliance at the site.
Good verbal and written communication skills are a must.
