About the Role:

Tata Electronics is seeking an Environmental Sustainability Lead to drive key EHS and sustainability functionalities across its manufacturing and construction operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish Safe Work Practices: Develop, implement, and enforce safe work practices across the organization.
  • EHS Compliance: Ensure adherence to established procedures and policies related to EHS.
  • Sustainability Expertise: Provide subject matter expertise to business teams, suggesting best available solutions for sustainability challenges.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Engage in periodic reviews of sector rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques, and performance standards.
  • Sustainability Standards: Leverage knowledge and experience in global sustainability standards and frameworks.
  • Program Implementation: Design and implement programs, KPIs, goals, and targets on projects.
  • Audit Support: Collaborate with external consultants and auditors on advisory and audit-related processes.
  • GHG Emissions Accounting: Apply knowledge and experience in GHG emission accounting for Scope 1, 2 & 3 as per the GHG Protocol and other applicable standards.
  • Data Analysis: Improve existing data collection and metrics reporting processes.
  • Emerging Trends: Contribute to the analysis of emerging ESG trends and regulations.
  • GHG Reduction Projects: Identify and support implementation of GHG reduction projects in areas like Energy, Waste, and Water.
  • Ad-hoc Data Analysis: Assist in performing statistical analysis and managing data inputs for business needs.

Critical Experience:

  • Sustainability Reporting: Proven experience in sustainability reporting, certifications, and compliance.
  • Circular Economy: Strong understanding of circular economy principles and sustainable practices.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication, networking, and relationship-building skills.
  • Innovative Execution: Strategic thinker with the ability to execute innovative sustainability initiatives.
  • Data Analysis Tools: Proficiency in data analysis and impact assessment tools.

Requirements:

Graduate Engineer from a recognized University (Sustainability or Environmental Engineering). M.Tech. candidates are preferred. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.

Salary Range:

$80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
