What you‘ll be doing:
Lead and mentor a team of sales engineers, fostering collaboration and professional development to optimise performance.
Partner with the sales team to develop and execute strategic plans for key deals, aligning team efforts with company goals.
Oversee the analysis and modelling of the financial aspects of sales opportunities, ensuring robust business cases are presented to clients.
Align customer pain points and requirements with our innovative solutions.
Create and deliver impactful presentations and demonstrations that highlight the unique value of our offerings.
Oversee all technical components of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs).
Facilitate clear communication between clients and our principals, ensuring all needs and responses are accurately conveyed.
Gather and document insights on competitors to inform our strategies and offerings.
What we need to see:
10-15 years of proven work experience as a Sales Engineer.
Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
Demonstrated success in selling to complex government organisations.
Strong ability to develop and maintain long-lasting relationships with customers.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain and present complex concepts in a clear and accessible manner.
Excellent presentation abilities, coupled with creativity in conveying information.
Comfortable meeting clients at their offices, as this role involves regular client interactions rather than desk work.
Openness to travel both within and outside of India as required.
A degree (BE/BSc/Diploma) in Electronics or Instrumentation is preferred.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Masters in Business Administration or related field.
Experience with Salesforce and its vast array of services like leads, opportunities, campaigns, polices, rules, etc.
Deep knowledge on fabrication and packaging process of semiconductors like photolithography, etching, oxidation etc.
Knowledge on battery technology and battery management technologies.
Successful business development experiences with your initiatives.
