Position Summary: As an Area Sales Manager for your city, you will develop and execute sales strategies to grow our millet products in your designated city. You’ll build strong partnerships with retailers, wholesalers, and distributors, achieve sales targets, and enhance our brand’s visibility through effective promotions and market insights. Join us to help make millet a preferred choice for consumers across India’s vibrant cities
Key Responsibilities:
Market Development:
Strategize & Expand: Develop and execute strategies to increase millet distribution in [City Name].
Identify Partners: Locate and collaborate with retail stores, wholesalers, and distributors to grow our market presence within your city.
Retail Onboarding:
Grow Our Network: Onboard new retail stores, supermarkets, and specialty retailers in [City Name] efficiently.
Collaborate Effectively: Work alongside wholesalers to ensure our products are well-placed on shelves in your area.
Relationship Building:
Foster Connections: Build and maintain positive relationships with decision-makers, store owners, and distributors in [City Name].
Optimize Placement: Secure suitable shelf space and improve product placement to enhance visibility and sales locally.
Market Analysis:
Conduct Research: Perform market research to understand local trends, consumer preferences, and the competitive landscape in Mumbai.
Negotiate Terms: Secure favorable terms and agreements with partners to support mutual growth.
Collaboration:
Work Together: Collaborate with supply chain, marketing, and product development teams to ensure cohesive efforts across departments.
Streamline Operations: Improve logistics and inventory management in partnership with distribution teams in Mumbai.
Industry Awareness:
Stay Informed: Keep up-to-date with industry trends, new market opportunities, and competitor activities within Mumbai.

Qualifications:
Experience: At least 5 years of sales management experience, preferably within the FMCG or food products industry.
Skills:
Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
Strong negotiation and pricing strategy skills.
Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
Proficient in conducting and analyzing market research.
Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Highly organized with strong multitasking capabilities.
Clear communication and presentation skills.
