The Opportunity

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development professional to join our sales team at Unthinkable. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving our business forward by actively engaging in online bidding on platforms such as Upwork. Your efforts will be focused on winning new projects and fostering growth in our IT services, which include Digital Transformation, DevOps, and Cybersecurity Solutions.


Location: Gurgaon

Position Type: Full-Time

Timings: 11AM - 9PM


What You'll Do

  • Spearhead the bidding process on online platforms like Upwork, ensuring a high rate of success in project acquisition.
  • Craft compelling proposals that effectively communicate our value proposition and align with client requirements
  • Analyze market trends and client feedback to continually refine bidding strategies.
  • Engage with potential clients to understand their needs and position our offerings as the optimal solution.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to ensure that proposals are both technically sound and commercially viable.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Unthinkable services to accurately represent them in the bidding process.
  • Follow up with clients post-proposal submission to address any questions and advance the conversation towards closing deals.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales cycle from initial bid to contract signing
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals, exceeding sales targets.
  • Maintain and update Upwork profiles to ensure they are optimized for maximum visibility and client attraction, following industry best practices and trends.


Who Will Be a Good Fit

  • Has a minimum of 2 years of experience with online bidding on platforms like Upwork, Freelancer with a strong track record of winning IT service projects.
  • Exhibits excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Is highly organized, able to manage multiple bids and sales processes simultaneously.
  • Shows a deep understanding of IT services and can effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical clients.
  • Excellent communication, presentation skills.
