Monitoring & Evaluation - Assistant Vice President

Description:The AVP (Assistant Vice President) Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E), is a key member of the Community Investing and Development (CID) team, reporting to CID's Head of Community Programs and CSR India. The CID team works to enhance Citi's positive social impact through community partnerships, philanthropy and volunteerism. The AVP will work closely with the Director in delivering an M&E framework for our CSR programs in alignment with regulatory requirements and Citi's global community investing approach.   Responsibilities:In partnership with the Director, support the design and implementation of a M&E framework for our CSR activitiesIdentification of appropriate data collection tools and strategiesAnalyze qualitative and quantitative data sought quarter on quarter. Ability to interpret complex data, identify patterns, and draw meaningful conclusions  Support the tracking of progress against key indicators, evaluate the effectiveness of activities, and analyze the long-term effects of CSR initiatives on communitiesSupport the engagement with stakeholders including but not limited to collaborating with internal teams (programs, management, etc.), external partners (NGOs, government agencies), and third-party service providers to gather feedback and ensure alignment.Articulate findings, both verbally and in writing, to diverse audiences, including developing decks and presentations   Identifying areas for improvement and recommending adjustments to ongoing projects in coordination with the teamUnderstanding the bigger picture and aligning M&E activities with organizational goals and broader social impact objectives  In partnership with the team, track and analyzing Impact Assessment reports, and reviewing the alignment of outcomes in line with those anticipated at the time of engaging in the projectsCreation of briefing materials and presentations for leadership and senior management for internal and external purposesSupport team-led community outreach events, including volunteer opportunities Qualifications:Minimum of 5 years professional experience in community development, philanthropy or social impact Subject matter knowledge and experience in India CSR policy and practiceExperience in designing and implementing M&E systems, data collection tools, and evaluation methodologies is a plus.Experience supporting complex, forward-thinking partnerships and initiativesExperience in working with diverse, multi-disciplinary teamsInterpersonal skills, particularly written and verbal communication, and comfort communicating with a broad range of stakeholdersCapacity to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and coordinate activities with various stakeholders.Ability to exhibit sound independent judgementAbility to work as part of a collaborative team and contribute positively to a high-energy, high-performing team environmentExcellent analytic and problem-solving skills - extremely detail-orientedExcellent time management and prioritization skills with an ability to juggle competing demands   Outstanding project management and organizational skillsSelf-starter with the capacity to work independentlyHighly proficient in Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPointEducation:Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experienceThis job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
