Job DescriptionRole Description:This is a full-time, on-site role for a Regional Manager, based in Chennai. The Regional Manager will oversee daily operations, manage staff, develop strategic plans, and ensure customer satisfaction within their region.Client Coordination:Act as a point of contact for regional clientsEnsure SLA adherence and high service qualityHandle escalations and resolve service-related issues proactivelyP&L Ownership:Monitor regional profitability and cost controlIdentify cost-saving opportunities in sourcing and routingDrive performance metrics across the teamTeam Leadership:Lead and manage a team of operations executives, procurement officers, and field staffTrain, mentor, and monitor performanceEnsure alignment with VFRYTs core values and processesReporting & Strategy:Generate daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reportsProvide market feedback, competitor insights, and process improvement suggestionsCollaborate with tech/product teams for feature feedbackExperience Required: 8+ years in logistics/supply chain with minimum 3 years in a regional leadership roleQualificationsExperience in Logistics, Distribution, and Supply Chain ManagementStrong leadership, strategic planning, and team management skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to analyze performance metrics and implement process improvementsBachelors degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related fieldProficiency in using advanced technological tools for supply chain managementStrong vendor network in trucking/FTL industryHands-on, problem-solving attitude with people and team management skillsFamiliarity with logistics software and basic data tools (Excel, CRM, etc.)Strong communication skills Hindi Speaking fluency is a plus
