Position Name -  Inward Facultative ReinsuranceLocation - Mumbai Experience Range yearsMandatory Requirement:Must be from the insurance or the insurance broking industry.Job Roles and Responsibilities:Develop and execute the inward facultative reinsurance strategy aligned with the organization's overall goals.Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities in new and existing markets to build a robust inward facultative reinsurance portfolio.Drive innovation in product offerings and underwriting approaches to meet dynamic client needsalignment with the organization's risk appetite.Monitor portfolio performance, ensuring profitability while maintaining balance across regions, industries, and risk classes.Set pricing guidelines and risk acceptance criteria, leveraging market insights and actuarial data.Foster strong relationships with ceding companies, brokers, and other stakeholders to establish the organization as a preferred facultative reinsurer.Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to promote brand visibility and thought leadership.Lead negotiations for large, complex facultative placements to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.Oversee the implementation of systems, tools, and processes to streamline underwriting and portfolio management.Review and approve high-value or complex risks proposed by the underwriting team.Collaborate with actuarial, claims, and risk management teams to develop solutions for unique or challenging risks.Qualification and Experience:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
