Primary Responsibilities KRA's
1. Reinsurance Accounting and Analytics, which includes accumulation tracking and payment & recovery management
2. Treaty Renewal Activities:
- Preparation of infopack for treaty renewals as required by reinsurers/brokers.
- Analysis of the CAT Modelling report & working out CAT limit to be purchased.
- Quote comparison & analysis
- Analysis of Treaty Terms & Conditions & Co-ordinating with respective underwriters.
- Compliance of order of preference
- Reinsurance Programme Set up in all systems viz GC and Health Buzz
3. Treaty Management:
- Treaty slips / endorsement slips management
- Calculation of XOL Claims Recovery, Cash Call Recovery, Sliding Scale Commission, Loss Corridor, Profit Commission, Adjustment Premium, etc.
- Tracking of Treaty Achievements & Performance
4. Facultative Management
- Facultative Inward – Overview the process and have checks and balances in place
- Facultative Outward Placement –Seeking quotes from various reinsurers, negotiation, clarification of queries, etc.
- Preparation & Maintenance of Fac Slips / Endorsements
- Compliance of order of preference
5. Compliance - Governance & Control
- IRDA Reports submission – Annual, Half Yearly, Adhoc
- Compliance of Reinsurance Regulations
- Adherence to GRM protocol for reports and compliance
- Providing data / clarification sought by GRS
