About the Operational Model

About the Operational Model As our product is different from others, so is our business model. All our fresh products are made for the day they are shipped to retail stores. We have zero finished goods inventory, and hence no intermediary stockists or transitory warehouses. This is possible only with the help of an inhouse fleet of vehicles and distribution personnel. Currently a fleet of 500+ dedicated vehicles and crew touch 30,000 retailers daily and replenish 100,000+ Kgs units of the freshest produce.

Job Overview

The Key Accounts Executive for Modern Trade will be responsible for managing relationships with key modern trade clients, driving sales growth, executing promotions, and ensuring product availability across retail chains. This role requires a strong focus on customer management, product performance, and the execution of business plans to achieve sales targets.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts in the modern trade sector (large retailers, supermarkets, and hypermarkets).
  • Regularly visit stores to ensure compliance with business agreements, planograms, and product placements.
  • Drive sales growth by developing and implementing strategic account plans.
  • Work towards achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Monitor sales performance and take corrective actions to meet goals.
  • Identify new business opportunities within the existing accounts.
  • Plan and execute in-store promotions and marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to align brand visibility and awareness.
  • Coordinate with the supply chain and logistics teams to ensure timely product deliveries to modern trade clients.
  • Review inventory levels at customer outlets and initiate re-orders when necessary.
  • Analyze sales data to understand trends and patterns and report on key account performance.
  • Provide regular feedback on competitors, pricing, promotions, and market developments.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, logistics, and finance to ensure seamless operations.
  • Ensure alignment between modern trade accounts’ requirements and the company’s internal processes.


Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in sales or key account management, preferably in modern trade or FMCG.
  • Strong understanding of modern trade dynamics and customer needs.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
