The Job Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Sales Engineer at Magal Engineering Co. India Pvt. Ltd. The Sales Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support, communicating with customers, driving sales, and delivering top-notch customer service on a daily basis.

The overall responsibilities are:

·  Generate enquiries and follow up on existing customers
·  Do the initial groundwork for discussions on sales
·  Gain thorough product knowledge
·   Responsible for achieving sales target set by management
·   Present the product and sell
·  Visiting potential customers to prospect for new business
·  Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales
·   Has to travel and be on the move
·  Liaising with principals to check on the progress of existing orders
·  Checking quantities of goods on display and in stock
·  Recording sales and order information and sending copies to the sales coordinator
·  Reporting back to product / senior managers
·  Maintaining case files and paperwork with admin support
·  Work well in a team
·  Work within parameters set by the Company
·  Representing the organization at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations
·  Maintaining detailed knowledge of the company’s products or services
·  Keeping abreast of what competitors are doing

·  Making accurate, rapid cost calculations, and providing customers with quotations – with support of management

·  Feeding future buying trends back to employers.
