Role Purpose
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director for bank partnerships with a minimum of 10-12 years of experience, preferably within the fintech or banking sector.
The Director of Bank Partnerships will lead strategic relationships with banking institutions, driving revenue growth through new partnerships, upselling, and cross-selling opportunities. This senior position requires a deep understanding of banking products, services, and regulatory frameworks to effectively position solutions and create lasting partnerships.
Responsibilities we entrust you with
Partnership Development and Management
- Develop and execute the banking partnership strategy, including target identification, engagement approaches, and growth plans.
- Contract Negotiation & structuring Create comprehensive partnership proposals that demonstrate clear value propositions and ROI for banking partners.
- Lead complex contract negotiations and partnership structuring to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes.
Sales and Revenue growth
- Drive revenue through new partnership acquisition, upselling existing partners, and identifying cross-selling opportunities.
- Develop and execute account plans for key banking partnerships to maximize revenue potential.
- Drive continuous improvement in partnership management and engagement strategies.
Develop business cases & monitor partnership performance
- Create and present business cases to senior banking executives for new products and services.
- Monitor and analyse partnership performance metrics, providing regular reports on growth and opportunities.
- Establish and maintain partnership operations processes and best practices.
Strategic Planning and Execution
- Collaborate with product teams to align product roadmap with banking partner needs and market opportunities.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders across product, legal, finance, and operations teams.
What matters in this role
- 10-12 years of sales acquisition experience in the banking or fintech industry.
- Master’s degree in business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of fintech products and services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and market trends.
- Proven track record of closing large-scale banking partnerships. Demonstrated success in managing and growing strategic partnerships.
