Our people.About the RoleWe are looking for a passionate and driven Business Development Executive (BDE) to join our growing sales team. This is not a traditional sales role — it's about consulting, storytelling, relationship building, and being part of a team that empowers innovation.You'll work directly with startup founders, understand their product visions, and align them with the right tech roadmap and solutions from CloudTrains.Key ResponsibilitiesResearch and identify potential clients in India, the US, UK, and other target marketsDrive outbound sales via LinkedIn outreach, emails, and discovery callsUnderstand client requirements in mobile app development, web platforms, SaaS, and custom softwareCreate and present tailored proposals, pricing models, and value pitchesManage the full sales cycle: from lead qualification to negotiation and deal closureCollaborate with the tech and delivery teams to ensure accurate project scopingMaintain an organized pipeline and track lead status and follow-ups regularlyAchieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets through consultative sellingWho You Are1–3 years of experience in IT services or tech-based solution sellingStrong understanding of the digital product development lifecycleExcellent communication and presentation skills in English (written and verbal)Confident in handling international clients and managing discovery/demo callsSelf-motivated, proactive, and excited to grow in a fast-paced startup environmentFamiliarity with proposal tools, CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Zoho), and lead databasesPreferred SkillsBasic knowledge of Agile, product discovery, and estimation workflowsUnderstanding of startup pain points and fundraising stages is a plusPrior experience in a startup or tech consulting environmentWhy Join CloudTrains?Competitive base salary + performance-linked incentivesFlexible hybrid work setup with founder-level exposureTransparent work culture and fast learning curveWork directly with international clients and innovative startupsOpportunity to grow into a BDM or Client Partner role within 12–18 months
