Import Export ManagerLocation Surat Gujarat India Swastik universal buildingPosition Overview We are seeking an experienced Import Export Manager to oversee and manage our international trade operations This role involves handling all aspects of import and export processes ensuring compliance with customs regulations and coordinating with various stakeholders to facilitate smooth Operation Key Responsibilities Documentation Management Prepare and process all necessary import export documentation including commercial invoices packing lists bills of lading and certificates of origin Customs Compliance Ensure all shipments comply with national and international trade laws including customs regulations tariff classifications and import export documentation requirements Freight Forwarding Coordination Communicate and negotiate with freight forwarders to arrange transportation secure competitive rates and ensure timely delivery of goods Customs Liaison Act as the primary point of contact with customs agents to facilitate smooth clearance of goods and resolve any issues that may arise Invoicing and Billing Oversee the preparation of invoices and ensure accurate billing for all import export transactions Qualifications Bachelor s degree in International Business Supply Chain Management or a related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in import export operations In-depth knowledge of international trade regulations customs procedures and documentation requirements Strong communication and negotiation skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software programs Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Skills Experience with customs house agents CHA and Document Preparation Familiarity with freight forwarding processes and documentation Knowledge of risk management strategies in international trade
