Key Responsibilities:
1. *Documentation Preparation*:

- Ensure that all documents for both imports and exports are accurate and compliant with regulatory standards.
- These documents may include invoices, bills of lading, packing lists, certificates of origin, letters of credit, and export licenses.

2. *Interaction with Authorities and Regulatory Bodies*:

- Work closely with various authorities such as the *Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), which regulates foreign trade in India, and **Customs* for compliance and clearance.
- Ensure the correct classification and valuation of goods under applicable trade policies.

3. *Customs House Agent (CHA)*:

- Coordinate with CHAs to facilitate customs clearance for shipments.
- Ensure timely submission of documents to customs, making sure that all regulations are adhered to, minimizing delays at ports.

4. *Freight Forwarding*:

- Collaborate with *freight forwarders* to arrange transportation, ensuring that goods are shipped efficiently and on time.
- Work on booking cargo space, determining the most appropriate shipping method, and handling insurance and claims if needed.

5. *Duty Drawback*:

- Oversee the process of claiming *duty drawback* for goods exported from India, ensuring that any customs duties paid on raw materials and components are refunded when these goods are exported.
- Maintain accurate records of exports to facilitate smooth and timely refunds from customs.

6. *Inventory Management*:

- Ensure accurate record-keeping for inbound and outbound goods.
- Track goods as they move through the supply chain, from customs clearance to final delivery.

7. *Compliance and Risk Management*:

- Monitor changes in regulations such as new import-export policies, customs tariffs, and international trade laws.
- Ensure that all documents are in line with the latest guidelines to avoid penalties, delays, and risks.

8. *Communication with Clients and Stakeholders*:

- Act as a liaison between customers, suppliers, government agencies, customs officials, and shipping companies.
- Keep clients informed about the status of their shipments, any potential issues, and ensure smooth transactions.

Pay: ₹12,285.56 - ₹50,000.00 per month
