Description

We are seeking an experienced Help Desk Technician to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in IT support, providing excellent customer service and technical assistance to our users.

Responsibilities

- Provide first-level contact and convey resolutions to customer issues.
- Properly escalate unresolved queries to the next level of support.
- Track, route, and redirect problems to correct resources.
- Update customer data and produce activity reports.
- Document internal procedures and prepare user guides for reference.
- Assist in the setup and configuration of new hardware and software.
- Maintain and troubleshoot desktop and laptop computers, printers, and other peripherals.

Skills and Qualifications

- 5-10 years of experience in a Help Desk or Technical Support role.
- Proficient in Windows and Mac operating systems.
- Experience with remote desktop tools and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
