South Indian Cook Position South Indian Cook Department Kitchen Food Preparation Location Kottayam Employment Type Full-Time Key Responsibilities Preparation of South Indian Cuisine Prepare authentic South Indian dishes such as dosa idli vada sambhar rasam and a variety of chutneys Cook specialty dishes from different South Indian states Kerala Tamil Nadu Karnataka Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Food Quality and Hygiene Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation Follow food safety and hygiene protocols as per local health regulations Menu Development Assist in planning and developing traditional and fusion South Indian menus Introduce seasonal and innovative dishes to attract customers Inventory Management Manage inventory for South Indian ingredients such as rice lentils spices and condiments Ensure timely procurement and minimize wastage Cooking Equipment Operate and maintain kitchen equipment like dosa tawa idli steamers and grinders Team Collaboration Work collaboratively with other chefs and kitchen staff Train junior cooks in South Indian cooking techniques Qualifications and Skills Proven experience as a South Indian cook minimum 2-3 years In-depth knowledge of South Indian cooking techniques and ingredients Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong understanding of food hygiene and safety standards Good communication and teamwork skills Additional Requirements Flexible to work on weekends and holidays Physical stamina to handle kitchen duties Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Meals during shifts Opportunities for career growth Job Type Full-time Pay 18 000 00 - 20 000 00 per month Benefits Food provided Work Location In person
