Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in Bengaluru, Chennai for a Presales Consultant - IT Infra from 6 PM to 3 PM IST . We are looking for a Pre-Sales Engineer with expertise in Infrastructure, covering Networking, Security, Servers, Storage, Virtualization . The Presales Consultant will be responsible for providing technical consulting, preparing and delivering client presentations, assisting the sales team with technical proposals, The role involves conducting understand client needs and providing IT infrastructure solutions to address those requirements.This role requires a deep understanding of technical knowledge ,strong communication skills and the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Responsibilities - Conduct discovery sessions to gather information about existing infrastructure, applications, and workflows. - Solution Design & Architecture: Develop and present on-premises infrastructure solutions, including networking, security, endpoint protection, servers, and storage. - Prepare detailed technical proposals, bill of materials (BoM), solution architecture diagrams, and responses to RFPs/RFIs. - Provide the Effort estimate, SOW for the Implementation - Collaborate with the sales team to develop customized solutions that align with customer needs and business goals. - Design architecture diagrams and technical proposals outlining the solutions. - Deliver engaging presentations and demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of proposed solutions. - Clearly articulate the value proposition and competitive advantages of the recommended offerings. - Address technical inquiries and concerns raised by customers during presentations and meetings. - Conduct live product demonstrations to showcase key capabilities. - Lead the development and execution of proof of concept (PoC) projects to validate the feasibility and performance. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product management to ensure alignment between customer requirements and technical solutions. - Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive offerings in the market. - Share knowledge and best practices with colleagues to enhance the overall technical expertise of the organization. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Master's degree preferred. - Experience: 5+ years in Pre-Sales Engineering with expertise in network, security, server, and storage solutions. - Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner. - Demonstrated ability to build rapport with customers and establish trusted advisor relationships. - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to design innovative - solutions. - Proficiency in creating technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design documents, and proposals. Technical Expertise: - Networking: Routing, Switching, wireless, Firewalls, SD-WAN - Security: Firewalls, IDS/IPS, Zero Trust, NAC, - Server Infrastructure: HCI ,Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), Containerize platforms, cloud - Storage Solutions: SAN, NAS, Backup & DR Solutions Additional Requirements: - Willingness to travel occasionally for customer meetings, presentations, and conferences. - Willing to work on US shift ( 6 PM to 3 PM IST) - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Strong team player with a proactive and collaborative approach to work. - Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business
