Ummeed was founded in 2001 by Dr Vibha Krishnamurthy a developmental pediatrician Today with a diverse workforce of over 100 committed professionals Ummeed s transdisciplinary approach works towards - Supporting children with disabilities in their developmental trajectory and overcoming barriers through direct clinical services and helping families in their journey towards acceptance and empowerment- Building a network of trained professionals and community workers to monitor and promote Early Childhood Development identify children with developmental disabilities and provide timely and appropriate interventions to them and their families- Changing societal attitudes so that children with disabilities can overcome barriers to participation and inclusionAbout the Position We are seeking a talented and passionate Social Media Executive with 2 to 3 years of experience to join our team at Ummeed The aim of the role is to develop implement and manage the Ummeed s social media campaigns and advertising strategies to raise awareness drive engagement increase donations and achieve the organization s mission Key Areas of Responsibility - Understand organizational goals and translate them into measurable social media campaign objectives keeping in mind the TG Define clear and measurable objectives for social media advertising campaigns e g reach engagement website traffic lead generation donations Utilize platform advertising tools to precisely target relevant demographics interests and behaviors- Create detailed content calendars and plans for social media campaigns including themes messaging visuals and calls to action Work with team leads and different teams across the organisation to develop the content calendar- Set up and launch social media advertising campaigns on platforms like Facebook Instagram Twitter LinkedIn etc Ensure social media campaigns are integrated with other marketing and communication efforts e g email website events Schedule and publish social media content for campaigns across various platforms using scheduling tools- Define clear and measurable objectives for social media advertising campaigns e g reach engagement website traffic lead generation donations Strategically allocate and manage advertising budgets across different platforms and campaigns to achieve optimal results- Continuously monitor and analyze ad performance conduct A B testing on different ad elements and optimize campaigns for better results and ROI- Keep abreast of the latest social media advertising features best practices and algorithm changes- Monitor social media channels for mentions comments and messages related to campaigns and engage with the audience in a timely and appropriate manner Identify and address any negative feedback or issues that arise during campaigns- Track key performance indicators KPIs for both organic campaigns and paid advertisements e g reach engagement website clicks conversions donations Generate regular reports on campaign and advertisement performance providing insights and recommendations for future improvementsRequired Qualifications Experience Bachelor s degree in mass media related field or equivalent with 2-3 years of professional experience in a social media management Essential Skills Personal Attributes - Proven experience in managing social media campaigns and advertisements- Strong understanding of social media platforms Facebook Instagram Twitter LinkedIn etc and their advertising capabilities- Experience with social media management and analytics tools e g Hootsuite Sprout Social Google Analytics platform-specific analytics - Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to inform strategy- Ability to work independently and as part of a teamReporting to Head -
