Location: Bengaluru Department: Sales Reports to: SVP & Head of SAARC Supervisory Responsibilities: Yes Position Summary: ASSA ABLOY is seeking a highly driven Head Sales - Smart Residential/Home Automation , based in Bengaluru, to lead and strengthen our Home Automation business across India. The role involves expanding and maintaining a strong customer base, driving strategic partnerships, and enhancing business opportunities through innovative integration approaches. The National Manager will support existing customers while building sustainable long-term relationships that accelerate growth in the Home Automation ecosystem. Company Websites: - www.assaabloy.com Key Responsibilities: - Sales Strategy & Execution - Develop and implement national sales strategies aligned with ASSA ABLOY's global roadmap. - Focus on key customer segments such as real estate developers, luxury home builders, system integrators, and OEMs. - Drive partnership-based sales opportunities across regions. - Team Leadership - Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of 34 ADMs and Sales Executives. - Provide guidance through market intelligence, competitive insights, and structured sales planning to ensure consistent quota achievement. - Market Development - Build, strengthen, and manage relationships with channel partners, distributors, system integrators, and OEM partners. - Explore and develop platform integration opportunities with Samsung, Amazon Alexa, and local IoT providers to enhance product adoption and ecosystem penetration. - Revenue & P&L Management - Own the national P&L for Home Automation, including budgeting, forecasting, and pricing strategies. - Track key KPIs such as conversion rates, channel performance, inventory turnover, and margin optimization. - Mitigate risks arising from market fluctuations and competitive pressures. - Competitive Analysis & Reporting - Conduct ongoing market and competitor analysis. - Prepare structured reports and insights to support strategic decision-making. - Compliance & Innovation - Support adoption of innovative wireless and app-based control solutions. - Ensure compliance with internal standards, legal guidelines, and regional regulations. Required Skills & Competencies: - Strong leadership, team management, and decision-making capabilities - Proficiency in data analysis, API integration, and RF documentation interpretation - Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills - Technical aptitude in IoT/Smart Home solutions and system integrations Educational Qualifications: - 1215 years of B2B experience in the Home Automation or Security Products industry - Strong command over MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint - Bachelor's degree in Engineering or B.Sc., with MBA or equivalent preferred Key Benefits What We Offer: At ASSA ABLOY, we open doors to growth, balance, and meaningful opportunity.
