Requisition ID 288437 Relocation Authorized None Telework Type Full-Time Office Project Work Location Gurugram Extraordinary teams building inspiring projects Since 1898 we have helped customers complete more than 25 000 projects in 160 countries on all seven continents that have created jobs grown economies improved the resiliency of the world s infrastructure increased access to energy resources and vital services and made the world a safer cleaner place Differentiated by the quality of our people and our relentless drive to deliver the most successful outcomes we align our capabilities to our customers objectives to create a lasting positive impact We serve the Infrastructure Nuclear Security Environmental Energy Mining Metals and the Manufacturing and Technology markets Our services span from initial planning and investment through start-up and operations Core to Bechtel is our They are what we believe what customers can expect and how we deliver Learn more about our in our Bechtel India is a global operation that supports execution of projects and services around the world Working seamlessly with business line home offices project sites customer organizations and suppliers our teams have delivered more than 125 projects since our inception in 1994 Our offices in Gurgaon Vadodara and Chennai will grow significantly and sustainably with exciting career opportunities for both professionals and young graduates who are passionate about creating a cleaner greener and safer world building transformational infrastructure making decarbonization a reality and protecting people and the environment Job Summary Responsible for the daily activities associated with timely and accurate processing of Expatriate payrolls and related inputs using the enterprise SAP other payroll tools and system Major Responsibilities Candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate input and maintenance employee payroll data Reviewing payroll results of either medium sized 3-4 payrolls or large size 1-2 payrolls for accuracy inputs discrepancies reasonableness and final resolution of issues encountered The position will be responsible for formalizing and uploading files for deductions tax computations and other pay-period payments adjustments Job duties include creating electronic disbursement bank files and net pay remittance files balancing outbound files and generating payroll reports to downstream systems or departments as necessary The position will focus on scheduled performance of payroll tasks using tools and systems such as SAP for time and attendance information and payroll processing Service Now Aconex for audit trails and documentation and mailbox handling for supporting employee queries for overall control and timely delivery of payrolls within the team setting working closely with other team members The position will require assisting other less experienced team members in performance of tasks and duties of the group Candidates must apply sound financial analysis concepts beyond the simple adherence to detailed procedures and instructions recommending solutions to unusual problems Assignments call for strong judgment and resourcefulness along with timely responsiveness to resolve problems where solutions are not obvious Assist with functional testing and providing feedback and support for system design changes and enhancements Education and Experience Requirements Bachelor s Degree from an accredited institution with a major in Accounting Finance or Commerce Minimum 2 to 4 years of applicable payroll work experience and related compliances or General Ledger accounting processes and controls work experience Required Knowledge and Skills Conversant with at-least 1 or 2 countries payroll tax and social security rules and regulations Able to efficiently organize work activities to meet daily and weekly timelines in a team environment Must have legal right to work in India without sponsorship Ability to read write and speak English at an intermediate proficiency level SAP Payroll system experience -
