Job Summary:

Responsible for the daily activities associated with timely and accurate processing of Expatriate payrolls, and related inputs using the enterprise SAP/other payroll tools and system.

Major Responsibilities:
  • Candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate input and maintenance employee payroll data.
  • Reviewing payroll results of either medium sized 3-4 payrolls or large size 1-2 payrolls for accuracy, inputs discrepancies, reasonableness and final resolution of issues encountered.
  • The position will be responsible for formalizing and uploading files for deductions, tax computations, and other pay-period payments / adjustments. Job duties include creating electronic disbursement bank files and net pay remittance files, balancing outbound files and generating payroll reports to downstream systems or departments as necessary.
  • The position will focus on scheduled performance of payroll tasks, using tools and systems such as SAP for time and attendance information and payroll processing, Service Now, Aconex for audit trails and documentation and mailbox handling for supporting employee queries for overall control and timely delivery of payrolls within the team setting working closely with other team members.
  • The position will require assisting other less experienced team members in performance of tasks and duties of the group.
  • Candidates must apply sound financial analysis concepts beyond the simple adherence to detailed procedures and instructions, recommending solutions to unusual problems.
  • Assignments call for strong judgment and resourcefulness, along with timely responsiveness to resolve problems where solutions are not obvious.
  • Assist with functional testing and providing feedback and support for system design changes and enhancements.
Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution with a major in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
  • Minimum 2 to 4 years of applicable payroll work experience and related compliances or General Ledger accounting, processes, and controls work experience.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
  • Conversant with at-least 1 or 2 countries payroll, tax, and social security rules and regulations
  • Able to efficiently organize work activities to meet daily and weekly timelines in a team environment.
  • Must have legal right to work in India without sponsorship.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English at an intermediate proficiency level.
  • SAP Payroll system experience – Intermediate level
  • Time and attendance Reporting Systems- Intermediate
  • Ability to work on MS-Excel for various ad-hoc analysis activities
  • Oracle General Ledger Accounting System-Basic to Intermediate
  • Experience with a large multi-national corporation and multi-country overseas payroll processing.
  • Higher level of experience with same skillsets
