A Leading FMCG company is looking for experienced candidates in end to end supply chain managementKey ResponsibilitiesSupply Chain Strategy Leadership Develop and implement the overall supply chain strategy aligning it with the companys short-term and long-term business objectives Lead and drive key supply chain initiatives ensuring continuous improvement in efficiency cost reduction and service excellence Establish and communicate clear supply chain goals ensuring alignment with other departments such as Sales Marketing Finance and Operations End-to-End Supply Chain Management Oversee the procurement production inventory management logistics and distribution functions to ensure a seamless supply chain from end-to-end Design and manage demand planning forecasting and supply planning processes to ensure timely availability of products while optimizing inventory levels Manage the network of suppliers manufacturers warehouses and distribution channels to meet customer demand at the lowest cost Supplier Vendor Relationship Management Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers manufacturers and service providers Negotiate contracts and terms ensuring cost-effective and timely procurement of goods while maintaining high standards of quality and performance Regularly assess supplier performance ensuring compliance with SLAs quality standards and ethical sourcing practices Inventory Warehouse Optimization Oversee inventory management to ensure optimal stock levels while minimizing holding costs obsolescence and stockouts Ensure efficient warehouse management including space utilization stock rotation and order fulfillment processes Implement inventory control systems to track and manage stock levels reducing waste and improving product availability Logistics Distribution Optimization Oversee transportation management ensuring efficient and cost-effective delivery to customers and distribution centers Optimize the supply chain network considering transportation modes warehouse locations and delivery schedules to improve lead times and reduce costs Lead efforts to manage third-party logistics 3PL providers and ensure effective transportation planning and delivery execution Cross-Functional Collaboration Collaborate with Sales Marketing Finance and Operations teams to ensure the supply chain strategy supports overall business goals and customer requirements Provide input into product launch planning ensuring that supply chain processes are ready to meet market demand Align supply chain decisions with broader business initiatives such as sustainability goals cost-cutting measures or technological advancements Technology and Data Analytics Lead the adoption and integration of supply chain technologies e g ERP WMS TMS to enhance operational efficiency visibility and decision-making Leverage data analytics to monitor performance metrics KPIs such as on-time delivery inventory turnover and customer satisfaction Continuously improve the supply chain using data-driven insights to identify trends opportunities for improvement and risk mitigation Risk Management Compliance Identify and mitigate risks across the supply chain such as supply disruptions logistics bottlenecks or quality issues Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements industry standards and corporate policies across the supply chain function Develop contingency plans and business continuity strategies to respond to unforeseen disruptions Team Leadership Development Lead mentor and develop the supply chain team providing direction support and professional development opportunities Foster a culture of collaboration accountability and continuous improvement within the supply chain department Establish performance objectives and track team performance to ensure high standards of service and operational excellence Cost Management Budgeting Develop and manage the supply chain budget ensuring that costs are controlled while maintaining high service levels Identify cost-saving opportunities through process improvements supply chain optimization and vendor negotiations Monitor financial performance including cost of goods sold COGS inventory carrying costs and transportation expenses RequirementsKey RequirementsEducation Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration Logistics or a related field An MBA or advanced degree in a relevant field is highly preferred Experience Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in supply chain management with at least 5 years in a leadership or senior management role ideally within the FMCG or consumer goods sector Proven experience in managing complex multi-faceted supply chains and leading cross-functional teams Experience with large-scale procurement demand planning inventory optimization logistics and distribution management Skills Competencies Strong leadership and decision-making skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills Strategic thinker with a track record of driving operational efficiency and cost savings In-depth knowledge of supply chain best practices technologies and industry trends Experience with supply chain software ERP WMS TMS and data analytics tools Ability to manage change and lead projects in a fast-paced dynamic environment Strong financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets cost analyses and financial performance metrics
