About Our Client

Our client is a leading Indian manufacturer of electrical cables and wires, ranked among the top players in the industry. With a diverse product portfolio spanning Low, Medium, High, and Extra High Voltage cables, the company caters to global markets across power utilities, oil & gas, infrastructure, and industrial sectors.

Job Description

The Export Sales Manager - Africa will be responsible for the following:

- Develop and execute the sales strategy for exports

- Identify and onboard new customers into Oil & Gas Industry, utility companies, power distribution entities, and electrical utilities.

- Manage and expand relationships with existing accounts to grow repeat business.

- Ensure compliance with regional trade regulations and international business practices.

- Prepare accurate sales forecasts, market intelligence reports, and competitor analysis.

- Work closely with internal teams (production, logistics, finance) to ensure seamless execution of export orders.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have the following:

- Minimum 10+ yearsof experience in international sales/export sales within the electrical products, cables or power equipment industry.

- Proven track record of handling business volumes of ₹100 Cr+.

- Strong experience in developing new geographies/markets and scaling up business.

- Exposure to working with Oil & Gas Industry, utility companies, power distribution entities, and electrical utilities.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

- Engineering/technical background preferred; MBA will be an added advantage
