Requirements
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Head of Business Development to lead our sales and growth initiatives across domestic and international markets. The ideal candidate will bring proven expertise in pre-sales, direct sales, inside sales, and international business development, along with experience in sales recruitment and team leadership. As a strategic leader, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and building a high-performing business development function that aligns with organizational goals.
This role is suited for an ambitious professional who thrives in building sales strategies, forging client relationships, and scaling business operations globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Business Development
- Define, refine, and execute the company's business development strategy for domestic and international markets.
- Identify new market opportunities, evaluate business potential, and develop entry strategies.
- Build and manage a pipeline of qualified opportunities through pre-sales and prospecting activities.
- Sales Leadership
- Lead end-to-end sales cycles including pre-sales, direct sales, inside sales, and client negotiations.
- Drive revenue growth through effective pitching, proposal creation, and closing deals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design customer-focused solutions.
- Sales Recruitment & Team Building
- Recruit, train, and mentor high-performing sales and business development professionals.
- Establish KPIs and performance management processes to drive team success.
- Foster a collaborative, competitive, and growth-oriented culture within the sales team.
- International Business Development
- Develop and expand the company's footprint in global markets.
- Build relationships with international clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Stay updated on international market trends, regulations, and competitive landscapes.
- Client Relationship Management
- Build long-term relationships with key accounts to maximize retention and cross-selling opportunities.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through proactive engagement and issue resolution.
- Process Optimization & Reporting
- Implement structured sales processes, CRM tools, and best practices.
- Generate detailed reports on sales performance, pipeline health, and market opportunities.
- Provide insights and recommendations to leadership for continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of proven experience in business development, sales leadership, and international sales exposure.
- Core Competencies:
- Expertise in pre-sales, direct sales, inside sales, and business development.
- Strong background in sales recruitment and team leadership.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to analyze markets, build strategies, and deliver revenue results.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales automation platforms.
- Willingness to travel for business development activities.
