Job Description - Act as a strategic HR partner to the sales team, ensuring alignment between HR initiatives and business goals. - Provide guidance and support on workforce planning, recruitment, and talent development strategies. - Collaborate with leadership to identify and address organisational challenges. - Implement HR policies, procedures, and programs to enhance employee engagement and productivity. - Support performance management processes, including appraisals and feedback mechanisms. - Drive diversity and inclusion initiatives within the sales function. - Analyse HR metrics and provide insights to improve decision-making processes. - Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations within the Mumbai location.Partner with Sales leadership to translate business objectives into people strategies that support sales goals and drive results. - Workforce Planning -Identify future staffing needs and develop strategies to meet those needs, including talent retention strategies and succession planning - Lead and support change initiatives within the sales organization, helping employees adapt to new processes or ways of working. - Supporting HR head for creating HR strategies that support business objectives, such as improving productivity or entering new markets - Oversee talent acquisition (recruitment, sourcing, hiring) and talent development (training, skill enhancement) for the sales function - Drive recruitment and onboarding processes for the Sales team with TAT efficiency to minimize business gaps due to manpower gap. - Identify and groom high-potential employees for mobility / Promotions roles. - Manage employee relations matters, address grievances, and foster a positive and engaging workplace culture within the sales team. - Organizing and leading weekly or monthly meetings with HR /Sales Teams. - Employee Engagement: Monitoring and creating platforms for reward and recognition of performance and ensuring motivation of performing talents. Driving reward & recognition initiatives. - Talent development and career pathing: Map and develop structured career paths. Driving MVP program for key talent for the organization from assessment center till IJPs planning. Driving IJP's outcomes through right interventions/ programs that provide employees with development opportunities apt for their career progression. - Succession planning: Post Identification of key talent reviews. Work with leadership to prepare these individuals for future roles, including providing mentorship, coaching and job shadowing opportunities. - Internal mobility and retention strategies: Create policies, programs, and recognition strategies that encourage staff to explore new roles and projects internally, rather than always hiring externally. - Implement performance management, succession planning, and engagement frameworks across sales territories. - Sales Incentives Administration - Design and implement performance management frameworks tailored to sales KPIs - Partner with C&B team to design competitive incentive structures - Ensure alignment of rewards with sales outcomes and business priorities - Support annual appraisal and compensation review cycles. Support talent development initiatives. Implement performance management systems, coach managers, and use HR analytics to identify and address performance gaps to improve sales outcomes. - Goal Setting and KPI cascading. Collaborate with leaders on driving right metrics are incentivized for organizational goals Ensure the plan is financially viable and complies with all internal global requirements - Analysis: Conduct quarterly or annual reviews to analyze effectiveness, identify misalignments, and make necessary adjustments based on market conditions or strategic direction - Providing guidance for Performance improvement plans (PIPs), ensuring legal and ethical standards are met throughout the process. The Successful Applicant A successful Manager-Sales HR Business Partnering should have: - A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. - Proven expertise in HR business partnering within the energy and natural resources sector. - Strong knowledge of HR policies, labour laws, and compliance requirements. - Experience in talent management, recruitment, and workforce planning. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with stakeholders. - Proficiency in analysing HR data and metrics for strategic decision-making.
