Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Compensation & Benefits Assistant to join our Human Resources team in the IT industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both compensation and benefits, with the ability to manage competitive compensation programs that attract, retain, and motivate top talent.

Key Responsibilities

- Job Evaluation, Benchmarking and Analysis:

- Assist with job evaluations and analyses to determine appropriate compensation levels.
- Assist with benchmarking to support the business with recruitment and retention.
- Assist with the collation of internal data for survey submissions and legislative reporting requirements.

- Benefits Administration:

- Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.
- Monitor the effectiveness of and recommend improvements to existing benefits programs to enhance employee satisfaction and retention.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws related to employee benefits.

- Employee Communication and Support:

- Communicate compensation and benefits programs to employees and provide support for related inquiries.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate employees on compensation and benefits topics.
- Collaborate with HR business partners to address employee concerns and provide solutions.

- Compensation Administration:

- Assist in the smooth running of our annual and quarterly compensation cycles.
- Be responsible for maintaining accurate pay records in our HRIS and payroll.

Qualifications

- Education:

- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

- Experience:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in compensation and benefits, preferably in the IT industry.
- Proven experience in managing compensation and benefits programs.

- Skills:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS and compensation management software.
- In-depth knowledge of compensation and benefits regulations and best practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
