Job Overview We are hiring a strategic high-performing Sales Head Assistant Manager to lead the business development function for a leading logistics company with PAN-India presence and a robust global transport and logistics network The company specializes in end-to-end supply chain solutions including freight forwarding Air Sea customs clearance warehousing domestic transportation and value-added logistics services This role demands a visionary leader with deep expertise in logistics sales and business development responsible for driving national-level revenue growth steering strategic partnerships and leading a high-performing sales team to deliver on ambitious targets across the logistics and supply chain ecosystem Job Responsibilities Lead and oversee business development initiatives for Air Sea freight across multiple industry verticals and geographies Develop and execute a national sales strategy aligned with organizational goals Build and nurture a strong sales pipeline by identifying large-scale strategic opportunities and converting them into long-term revenue streams Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key clients understanding their logistics needs and providing high-value customized solutions Conduct strategic client meetings to identify cross-selling opportunities and expand service offerings across the client portfolio Collaborate with internal departments operations customer service finance to ensure service excellence and client satisfaction Ensure timely billing monitor collections and provide guidance on credit management strategies Serve as the key escalation point for critical client issues ensuring high standards of resolution and client retention Coordinate closely with global offices to enhance international business development and manage key global accounts Promote integrated logistics services including customs clearance warehousing domestic transportation and last-mile delivery Lead mentor and develop a high-performing national sales team setting clear performance goals and enabling their success through training and motivation Present sales performance reviews and strategic insights to executive leadership aiding in business planning and forecasting Job Requirements Graduate or MBA in Business Logistics or Supply Chain from a reputed institution or a related field Minimum 8 years of proven leadership experience in sales or business development within the freight forwarding and logistics industry Air Sea mandatory Proven ability to lead large sales teams and deliver multimillion-dollar revenue targets Deep understanding of global logistics international trade and multimodal freight operations Experience in handling clients in Pharma Engineering FMCG Consumer Goods or Retail sectors Exceptional leadership communication negotiation and stakeholder management skills Strategic thinker with a customer-centric approach and a track record of driving transformational growth Familiarity with value-added services like customs clearance warehousing and domestic distribution is highly desirable Why Join the Company Work with a market-leading logistics brand trusted by top Indian and global corporations Take ownership of national sales strategy and lead a growing sales force Opportunity to shape large-scale end-to-end supply chain projects for marquee clients Be part of a future-focused tech-enabled logistics ecosystem Location Sales Head Mumbai Ahmedabad Assistant Sales Manager - Mumbai Pune Nashik Baroda and Ahmedabad For any further details please write to us on
