Job Description

Role & responsibilities

- Identify and onboard new clients including agri commodity traders, processors, and farmers.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships through regular client visits and market mapping.
- Source new business opportunities under Warehouse Receipt Financing.
- Drive disbursals while ensuring risk-adjusted returns and client satisfaction.
- Ensure adherence to credit policies and guidelines during loan processing.
- Coordinate with collateral managers and other internal teams for seamless operations.
- Track post-disbursal documentation and resolve any pending items with urgency.
- Monitor delinquencies and take corrective actions based on early warning signals.
- Meet assigned business targets while maintaining healthy unit economics.
- Optimize yield, risk, and client satisfaction to ensure portfolio profitability.

Preferred candidate profile

- 45+ years of relevant experience in Commodity Finance / Agri Finance / Rural Lending.
- Strong understanding of Warehouse Receipt Financing, commodity markets, and agri-trade dynamics.
- Proven ability to build and manage client relationships in rural or semi-urban settings.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
