- Familiarity with procurement processes, negotiations, and vendor management.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and negotiation abilities.

Role Requirements

- Collaborate with project teams to define procurement needs and specifications.
- Source and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors for solar components.
- Obtain quotes, proposals, and bids from suppliers for project materials.
- Assist in negotiating prices, terms, and contracts with suppliers.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align procurement strategies with project goals.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Monitor market trends and changes in solar component pricing.
- Assist in managing procurement budgets and cost tracking.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders and contracts to selected vendors.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials and components to project sites.
- Collaborate with logistics teams to manage transportation and delivery logistics.
- Verify the quality and specifications of received materials.
- Support the resolution of procurement-related issues and challenges.
- Assist in maintaining accurate procurement records and documentation.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure contract compliance.
- Assist in managing vendor performance and relationships.
- Stay informed about industry best practices and supplier capabilities.
- Adapt procurement strategies based on changing project requirements and constraints.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and project teams.
- Contribute to continuous improvement in procurement processes.
- Participate in project meetings and provide procurement insights.
- Collaborate with finance teams to ensure accurate cost tracking and reporting.
