Solar Procurement Specialist

Job Title: Solar Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Solar Procurement Specialist to join our team.

  • Collaborate with project teams to define procurement requirements and specifications.
  • Source and evaluate potential suppliers for solar components.
  • Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts with suppliers.
  • Coordinate procurement strategies with project goals.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Monitor market trends and changes in solar component pricing.
  • Manage procurement budgets and cost tracking.
  • Prepare purchase orders and contracts for selected vendors.
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials and components to project sites.
  • Verify the quality and specifications of received materials.
  • Resolve procurement-related issues and challenges.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and project teams.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in procurement processes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Knowledge of solar energy technologies and industry suppliers.
  • Familiarity with procurement processes, negotiations, and vendor management.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
