Job Description Key Responsibilities Operational Logistics Management - Manage end-to-end logistics for ash evacuation and disposal. - Oversee transportation of bulk materials like ash, coal, limestone, bauxite, sand, etc. - Ensure efficient fleet utilization, timely deliveries, and minimal downtime. Transporter & Tipper Owner Network Development - Build and maintain a database of tipper owners, fleet operators, and logistics vendors. - Identify and onboard reliable transporters and contractors. - Negotiate freight rates, finalize contracts, and ensure adherence to service terms. Fuel & Driver Management - Monitor fuel consumption and implement cost-control measures. - Supervise drivers, including rostering, compliance, and safety training. Vendor Negotiation & Contracting - Handle rate negotiations, contract finalization, and vendor onboarding. - Draft and manage SLAs, NDAs, and transport contracts in collaboration with legal/commercial teams. - Track vendor performance and ensure accountability. Local Liaisoning & Compliance - Coordinate with local authorities, RTOs, municipalities, and project stakeholders. - Ensure compliance with regional transport and environmental regulations. - Resolve on-ground disputes, delays, and operational challenges promptly. Travel & Regional Oversight - Frequent travel across assigned regions (Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu). - Conduct site visits, audits, and performance reviews.
