Vandey provides outsourced instructional services to institutions of higher education and is seeking a candidate to work for Vandey to serve in a full-time role as a Marketo - Marketing Automation Specialist with the University of the People.

REPORTS TO: Sr. Marketing Automation Manager

GENERAL PURPOSE:

University of the People, the worlds first tuition-free online American university, is looking for an experienced Marketing Automation Specialist with a strong Marketo background to take our lifecycle marketing to the next level.

Reporting to the Sr. Marketing Automation Manager, you will use passion for marketing automation to optimize and scale our highly personalized lifecycle efforts. Youll lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of various types of campaigns, initiate process improvements, and manage complex marketing automation projects.

An ideal candidate embraces a customer-first approach, data oriented, and possesses an expert level understanding of segmentation and marketing automation.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, test, and optimize multi-channel lifecycle campaigns using Marketo.
- Monitor and manage segmentation to drive high-quality leads through the funnel, improve engagement, and maximize conversions.
- Create and optimize persona-based nurture programs to engage and convert applicants.
- Create and execute optimization strategies, including A/B testing and conversion rate optimization.
- Proactively identify gaps and needed improvements in marketing automation programs.
- Ensure data hygiene and quality within the marketing automation platform.
- Create and maintain processes and procedures documentation.
- Stay current with Marketos best practices, new releases, and industry trends to drive innovation and efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- 5+ years of marketing automation experience in Marketo. Marketo certifications are a big advantage.
- Expert knowledge of campaign architecture and management.
- Proven experience building and optimizing complex nurture programs in Marketo
- Proven experience creating and managing segments, personalized strategies, and multi-channel campaigns.
- Hands-on experience with Marketo reporting and creating actionable insights. Knowledge of other analytics platforms such as Google Analytics and PowerBI is a plus.
- Excellent HTML/CSS skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and across departments
- Strong project management skills
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
