Job Description
Heliware is a cutting-edge geospatial technology company offering advanced GIS solutions, geospatial products, enterprise-grade services, and APIs for diverse industries including Retail, Banking, Construction, Defense, and Government. We are expanding our Business Development team to drive growth across India and global markets.
Position: Business Development GIS Services
Experience Required: 25 years in the GIS / Geospatial industry (mandatory)
Location: Gurgaon
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, prospect, and develop business opportunities for geospatial products, services, and APIs across Retail, Banking, Construction, Defence, and Government sectors.
- Drive end-to-end sales cycle lead generation, client meetings, proposal preparation, negotiations, and closures.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships in both domestic (India) and international markets.
- Collaborate with the technical/product teams to deliver customized enterprise GIS solutions for client needs.
- Track industry trends, competitor activities, and contribute to market expansion strategies.
- Prepare business proposals, RFP responses, and ensure timely follow-ups with prospects.
- Consistently achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and revenue goals.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 25 years of proven experience in GIS / Geospatial sales (products, enterprise solutions, or APIs).
- Strong domain knowledge of geospatial technologies, mapping platforms, and GIS applications.
- Prior exposure to enterprise sales in Retail, Banking, Construction, Defence, or Government sectors.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple accounts, and drive results.
- Experience in handling global and Indian clients preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Geography / GIS / Business / related fields (MBA preferred but not mandatory).
