Job Category Corporate Security About Business Adani Group Adani Group is a diversified organisation in India comprising 10 publicly traded companies It has created a world-class logistics and utility infrastructure portfolio that has a pan-India presence Adani Group is headquartered in Ahmedabad in the state of Gujarat India Over the years Adani Group has positioned itself to be the market leader in its logistics and energy businesses focusing on large-scale infrastructure development in India with O M practices benchmarked to global standards With four IG-rated businesses it is the only Infrastructure Investment Grade issuer in India Job Purpose To execute and operationalize security automation projects and initiatives ensuring seamless integration of advanced technologies across business units The role focuses on aligning with the Automation Head s strategic directives to enhance security efficiency and system performance JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Automation Specialist Strategic Roles and Responsibilities Translate the Adani strategic objectives into detailed project plans for site-level and business unit implementation Align Automation Efforts Ensure that all project activities align with the Group Security Strategy and automation roadmap Provide actionable insights and updates to the Leadership on the effectiveness and progress of automation initiatives at group level and across businesses Execute security automation projects in compliance with organizational policies governance frameworks and regulatory requirements at corporate and across different businesses Security Technology Automation Implement advanced automation systems such as CCTV access control intrusion alarms and other security technologies across sites Systems Optimization Ensure the integration and compatibility of new technologies with existing infrastructure to maximize efficiency Regularly monitor the functionality of deployed security technologies addressing issues promptly and escalating unresolved challenges to the Automation Head Innovation Implementation Identify and deploy technology innovations as directed by the Automation Head ensuring alignment with operational needs Project Management Execute detailed project plans as outlined by the Automation Head ensuring alignment with timelines budgets and quality standards Track and report project milestones identifying delays or risks and recommending solutions to the Automation Head Collaborate with internal teams including IT and site operations to facilitate seamless project execution Coordinate training sessions for site teams to ensure smooth adoption and operation of deployed systems Partner Selection Engagement Support the Business teams in evaluating selecting and onboarding technology partners by providing site-level requirements and feedback Monitor vendor performance during project execution escalating issues or non-compliance to the Automation Head Maintain ongoing relationships with partners to ensure adherence to SLAs and quality standards during the operational phase Provide input to the Automation Head on partner performance for continuous improvement and strategic alignment Research Innovation Stay abreast with the new trends latest technologies new and advanced automation systems applications and advanced equipment to continually improve the Security infrastructure at Adani Adapt the latest trends to Adani context in order to build a better integrated innovative and more efficient security technology ecosystem Key Stakeholders - Internal Group Security Team Plant Site Security Heads Legal Team Finance Team Adani Environment Health Safety and Governance AESG Team IT and Digital Transformation Teams Technocommercial Team Key Stakeholders - External Law Enforcement Agencies Third Party Service Providers Security Agencies Emergency Response Services Government Regulatory Bodies Legal Consultant Industry Asscociations and Security Forums Vendor and Solution Providers System Integrators Audit Firms Responsibilities Provide strategic inputs from the automation and technology domain to be incorporated into the Group strategy and advice leadership on Security issues systems processes products and services Work with cross-functional experts to set strategic direction for Application and Infrastructure Security Decide on automation initiatives aligned to the Group Security Strategy Roadmap Engage with the Businesses to understand their Security requirements and subsequent automation needs pertaining to their Businesses and devise an action plan Justifying the Cost and Benefit analysis in sync with the BU Security Team Strategy Initiatives Formalize Security systems operating models including but not limited to CCTV System Access Control System Intruder Alarm System and Building Security Systems as per site business specific requirements Evaluate cutting edge Security technologies proof-of-concept to drive towards adoption and gel with exiting eco-system Drive the execution of the strategic initiatives related to automation at the Corporate BU Site level Maintain and update Adani approved hardware and system List for reference by BU Site Security team for subsequent procurement as spare or during projects Track obsolescence of existing systems and plan timely tech-upgrade in sync with BU Security Budgeting Conduct monetary evaluations of proposed projects in terms of cost analysis budget estimation and ROI analysis Finalize budgets as well as conduct timely budget reviews with the leadership team on Strategic projects in automation Technology Automation Initiatives Formulate policy framework and performance metrics for updating Security Automation equipment and applications for better integration of data and operations in the Security function Integrate Security capabilities with other Security pillars that include identity but not limited to access management data protection network Security and application Security Identify technological innovations to drive process excellence based on periodic incidence-based inputs from BU Oversee review design documents for engineering and procurement of the required automation hardware or systems Research and Innovation Stay abreast with the new trends latest technologies new and advanced automation systems applications and advanced equipment to continually improve the Security infrastructure at Adani Adapt the latest trends to Adani context to build a better integrated innovative and more efficient Security technology ecosystem Innovate ways and means to better integrate new projects and legacy systems to optimize cost Qualifications Educational Qualification Bachelor s Master s Degree Additional Degrees or Certification in Security Management preferred Work Experience Range of years Minimum 15 years in the corporate security field background in military or law enforcement is preffered
