Lead Security Specialist Job OpportunityAre you a highly skilled and experienced security professional looking for a challenging role? We are seeking a Lead Security Specialist to join our team.About the Role:As a Lead Security Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of security operations across various facilities.This includes managing security personnel, monitoring critical assets, enforcing compliance, and coordinating with external agencies to maintain a secure operating environment.Main Responsibilities:Security Operations Management: You will lead and manage security teams, ensuring effective surveillance through CCTV, access control systems, and patrolling.Critical Asset Protection: Implement security protocols for entry/exit of vehicles, materials, and personnel to prevent theft, pilferage, unauthorized access, and damage to company assets.Security Team Supervision: Supervise security teams, including guards, supervisors, and contracted security staff, ensuring discipline, grooming, training, and performance monitoring.Tactical Response Planning:Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure seamless emergency response for fire, medical emergencies, cargo issues, or security breaches.Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability studies to identify potential threats and develop mitigation strategies.Compliance and Liaison:Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements, including ISPS Code, port security norms, and statutory guidelines.Liaise with local authorities, including police, CISF, port authorities, Coast Guard, and district administration, to ensure effective coordination and information sharing.Educational Requirements:A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as criminology, law enforcement, or security management.Prior experience in security management, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role.Benefits: Our organization offers a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities for career growth and development.How to Apply: If you possess the skills and qualifications required for this role, please submit your application, including your resume and cover letter, to us.
