Role Description

This is an on-site, full-time role for a Business Development Manager located in Mumbai. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with potential partners, and developing strategies to drive business growth. Daily tasks include conducting market research, preparing and delivering presentations, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of business initiatives. The role also involves monitoring industry trends and staying informed about competitors.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in business development, sales, or related fields having 6+ years in sales experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships
- Experience in conducting market research and developing business strategies
- Negotiation and contract management skills
- Knowledge of the fintech industry and financial services
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field
- Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Flexibility to adapt to changing demands and priorities
- Experience working in the Indian market is a plus
