Role Description: This is a full-time on-site role for Business Development Manager, located in Indore. As an EPR (Extended Producer Responsibility) Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to managing and implementing company-wide EPR programs. This includes developing and executing strategies to ensure compliance with EPR regulations, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, managing reporting and documentation requirements, and driving continuous improvement in EPR program performance through Team. - Manage Team of Executives to ensure the sales and Business is growing. - Generate new leads for EPR services (compliance and Credit Trading) - Onboard new companies for EPR services - Target based fulfilment on a monthly and quarterly basis. - Lead and supervise a team of EPR professionals (3-5 Team members), providing guidance and support to achieve - operational objectives including targets, tasks and assignments. - Handle client interactions and maintain strong relationships to meet client requirements and - expectations. - Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of EPR principles and regulations related to e-waste, - batteries, tires, used oil, plastics, etc. - Stay updated with CPCB (Central Pollution Control Board) PWM (Plastic Waste - Management) rules and regulations to ensure adherence. - Develop and implement strategies to optimize EPR processes, enhance efficiency, and minimize environmental impact. - Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and innovation in EPR operations. - Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation related to EPR activities for internal and external stakeholders along with team members. - Develop a pipeline of clients for EPR service provision. - Manage key accounts, including pitching EPR services, onboarding brands, producers, traders and manufacturers target fulfillment and timely reporting. Qualifications: - Master's degree in Business Administration or a related field - Minimum 8 Years of Experience in Sales or Business Development in Business to business Industry - Strong management skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively - Strong understanding of environmental sustainability concepts and best practices - In-depth knowledge of EPR principles and regulations pertaining to e-waste, batteries, tires, - used oil, plastics, etc. - Excellent project management skills with the ability to effectively prioritize and meet deadlines - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment - Must be able to work beyond working hours. - Knowledge of waste management, circular economy, and recycling industry trends - Proficiency in MS Office suite and data management systems - Relevant certifications in environmental management or sustainability is a plus - Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
