We are looking for a Regional Senior Accountant - APAC ME which is a remote position in India You will join a growing company and will be supported and led by a veteran team in this unique industry space You are someone who loves navigating finance-based challenges and who can help with the daily finance operations while driving process improvements to increase efficiencies You will work on a broad range of corporate finance roles and responsibilities across your entities You will lead the monthly close process preparation and review of local Financial Statements and Tax returns and the forecasting and budgeting processes across your entities in the Middle East South Asia region You will report to the Regional Senior Finance Manager This job is fully remote based in the India You Will Help with the local month-end close processes and maintenance of general ledgers Ensure accurate monthly financial reporting deliverables including reconciliations balance sheets income statements and cash flow statements Analyze accounting data to produce financial insights and forecasts Oversight and support of daily finance operations within the APAC - ME Region Prepare record and review Journal entries Research and review invoices payments and expenses Perform monthly Balance Sheet account reconciliations to provide an accurate monthly accounting close process including the review of Accounts Payable Accruals payroll liabilities accounts Ensure compliance with accounting principles company procedures and regulations Work with local Vendors to help prepare local statutory financial statements for relevant assigned entities along with participating in any required financial statement audits Work with local Vendors to assist with the preparation and review of Tax filings on a monthly quarterly basis including VAT WHT returns Identify and assist with process improvements projects across the Region Help with special projects based on the needs of the finance department Work with a wider global team and across different time zones The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by people assigned to this classification They are not construed to be an exhaustive list of all job tasks performed by the personnel so classified You Have BA BS Masters in Finance Accounting or equivalent working experience required Relevant professional qualification in finance such as CA ACCA CPA required 5 years of accounting finance experience required Business proficiency in the English language required In-depth understanding of accounting month close accounts payable and reconciliation processes Foreign currency translation experience preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and NetSuite experience preferred Promote effective interaction with all levels of personnel Display appropriate ethical knowledge through extraordinary integrity and professional conduct
