We are seeking a motivated and experienced Bar Manager to oversee the daily operations of our bar The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills a passion for hospitality and a proven track record in managing high-volume bars or similar establishments You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of customer service managing staff inventory control and ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for Guests Key Responsibilities Operations Oversee day-to-day operations of the bar including opening and closing procedures Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations as well as local liquor laws Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area at all times Monitor bar ambiance music lighting and guest satisfaction Manage POS systems and cash handling procedures Staff Management Recruit train schedule and supervise bar staff including bartenders and barbacks Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching or disciplinary action when necessary Promote teamwork and maintain a positive working environment Customer Service Ensure an exceptional guest experience through high-quality service and attention to detail Address customer concerns and resolve complaints promptly and professionally Inventory Ordering Manage inventory levels of beverages garnishes and bar supplies Coordinate with vendors for timely ordering and deliveries Conduct regular stocktakes and minimize waste and shrinkage Menu Development Collaborate on cocktail and drink menu creation pricing and seasonal updates Train staff on new offerings and ensure consistency in drink preparation and presentation Financial Oversight Monitor bar profitability and work within budgetary guidelines Track sales and implement strategies to increase revenue e g promotions events happy hours Requirements Proven experience as a Bar Manager or in a similar leadership role In-depth knowledge of bar operations mixology and beverage trends Strong leadership organizational and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations Familiarity with POS systems and basic financial reporting Excellent customer service and communication skills Preferred Qualifications Experience managing events or private bookings Knowledge of local suppliers and beverage trends Social media or marketing experience for promoting bar events or specials Job Type Full-time Pay 35 000 00 - 45 000 00 per month Work Location In person
