Job Description :

The Business Development Manager (BDM) will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and managing a team of Business Development Executives. The BDM will work closely with senior management to propose innovative business strategies and ensure customer satisfaction while achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities :

Strategic Business Development:

- Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand the companys market reach.
- Analyze market trends, competitors, and customer needs to propose innovative business solutions.
- Develop strategies to enhance existing client relationships and increase revenue streams.
- Contribute to the development of sales and marketing strategies to improve brand positioning.
- Collaborate with senior management to suggest and implement new business ideas.

Team Leadership & Management :

- Lead, mentor, and motivate the Business Development team to achieve sales targets.
- Set individual and team goals, monitor performance, and provide regular feedback.
- Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the skills of the team.
- Allocate tasks and responsibilities effectively among team members.
- Foster a high-performance sales culture within the team.

Client Acquisition & Relationship Management :

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to close deals.
- Develop customized solutions based on client needs.
- Ensure timely follow-ups and resolution of client inquiries.
- Organize senior management visits to key clients for business expansion discussions.

Sales Planning & Execution:

- Achieve and exceed quarterly/annual sales targets.
- Prepare and manage a structured sales pipeline and ensure timely closure of deals.
- Oversee proposal preparation, account mapping, and penetration strategies.
- Maintain and update CRM with accurate sales and customer data.
- Provide weekly sales forecasts, funnel reports, and participate in sales reviews.

Operational & Financial Responsibilities:

- Ensure timely collection of payments from customers.
- Work closely with internal teams to streamline sales operations.
- Optimize business development processes for better efficiency and results.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Qualification & Skills :

- Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar role, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
- Sales Expertise: Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Leadership Skills: Strong team management, coaching, and mentoring abilities.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to analyze market trends and recommend business expansion strategies.
- Communication & Negotiation: Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and digital sales techniques.
- Flexibility: Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and business development activities.
