Job Description Inviting applications for the role of Senior Manager - Business Research - SPS Lead and manage cross-functional projects from inception to delivery in a dynamic, virtual environment Responsibilities: - Conduct in-depth research and analysis on companies, industry and functional domains (including procurement/sourcing). Will involve preparing high-impact, fact-based reports and provide actionable insights to stakeholders - Supporting key senior stakeholder meetings with actionable insights basis target company strategic imperatives, challenges, vendor landscape etc. - Track and analyse emerging technologies, sustainability trends, geopolitical shifts, and supply chain dynamics affecting demand, cost structures, and vendor landscapes - Develop and institutionalize industry- and service-line-specific knowledge as the function matures - Build and manage senior stakeholder relationships, aligning research and insights to business priorities and strategic imperatives - Collaborate with leadership (function heads, VPs, senior decision-makers) on org-wide initiatives such as procurement enablement, transformation, and GTM strategies - Lead and manage cross-functional projects from inception to delivery in a dynamic, virtual environment - The role will also include partnering with the Sourcing / Procurement team and involve creating comprehensive insights on suppliers/vendors, evaluate supplier capabilities, financials, evaluate /flag potential risks, analysing large datasets to derive actionable insights (identify trends, opportunities, and early warning signals), industry research (real estate, location analysis for new centre set up etc.) Qualifications we seek in you Minimum Qualifications - MBA or equivalent with minimum Years of work experience in business research and consulting domain - Experience in conducting secondary & business research and business statistics, exposure to interacting with senior leaders - Business research includes strategy research, industry analysis, competitor analysis, market analysis, financial analysis, qualitative and quantitative benchmarking, Porter%27s five forces, SWOT analysis, company analysis, market research to understand industry trends and competitive landscapes etc. - Proficient at analysing and extracting actionable insights from large data sets (trends, opportunities etc.) - Excellent hands-on experience of multiple databases such as Cap IQ, APQC, Finilistic, LinkedIn, Factiva, Everest, NH, HfS, WSJ, PrivCo - Savvy with MS Office, PowerPoint and Excel hold on PowerBI will be an added advantage - Excellent writing and editing skills required to craft persuasive messaging and content - Strong executive presence, good communication skills and senior stakeholder management - Experience & knowledge of the procurement / sourcing domain will be an added advantage - Experience in client-facing role and/or understanding professional services market would be an advantage - - - - -
