Role Purpose Statement:
Hotels and Resorts.

Main Accountabilities

Generate new business, close deals, and increase revenue by cold calling, on-site visits and sales tours, and

community networking

Identify new business leads by examining local market trends and competition activities

Establish and grow our market share by developing and maintaining relationships with major group and catering

clients

Supports the director of sales and marketing in preparing the department budget as well as the hotel's overall sales

goals and strategy

Making updates, reserving rooms, and processing bills in the PMS

Updating key account information and activities/goals in the hotel’s CRM

Proactively reaches out to organizations, associations and companies that may require hotel rooms and/or meeting

space for conferences and events

Have in-person meetings with potential accounts to explain the hotel’s unique value proposition and to negotiate

future business opportunities

Network with wedding planners and special event planners to increase bookings for these types of events (this is also

often done by the Catering Sales Manager or the Event Manager)

Work closely with the Revenue Manager to ensure proposed rate negotiates meet the hotel’s goals and also to ensure

the proper distribution of room sales across various market segments

Qualification:
Qualification: Bachelor’s or MBA (Marketing)

Experience: 1-5 Years (Minimum) in hospitality industry

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:
Working knowledge of software such as PMS (Property Management System)

Good Communication skills

Leadership skills

Deal Strategy

Creating Sales plans and process

Forecasting sales and creating reports

Good command over MS office tool

Interfaces:
1. Managing Director 2. HOD- Sales 3. Operations 4. Human Resources

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Lead generation: 1 year (preferred)
- total work: 2 years (required)
- Marketing: 1 year (preferred)
